Starting in the 1940s and continuing until the late 60s, the Medical Mission Sisters produced several films used to advertise our Society. The Sisters would circulate the films for showing in schools, churches, etc. This film, A Different Story, was meant to promote vocations, i.e. interest young women in joining MMS. It gives an overview of the work the Medical Mission Sisters were doing at the time (the late 50's), what kind of training a Sister might have, and what kind of work she might do at home or abroad. A Different Story was developed by Cullen & Associates. The script was written by Lawrence Ravitz.
