This month's Sustainable Development Goal is Gender Equality. Its focus is to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. Medical Mission Sisters asked women from the community in Kulmasa, Northern Ghana, how MMS could help them. The women replied that support and training in soap making would help them provide for their families. In the past year MMS have trained 400 women. In addition to the financial benefit, working together making soap also gives opportunity for community-building among the women.
