Sister Maigualida Riera, living in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, knows how to throw a good party!  For her birthday earlier in December she asked friends to donate birthday cakes.  She received 65 cakes and shared the cake with 300 ‘new friends’, people who are living on the streets of her barrio.  She said the women and men, many of whom don’t even know when their birthday is, appreciated being part of the day in which everyone celebrates life.  She added, “Life makes sense when we share it with others.”  Birthday blessings, Sister Mai!
