MMS in Unit North America give a big thank you to Peter Pedemonti for his comprehensive and inspiring talk at our recent Justice Meeting.  Peter is the co-chair of the Philadelphia branch of the New Sanctuary Movement (NSM). NSM is a national ecumenical organization which provides accompaniment, including legal aid, for refugees as they attempt to regularize their status here in the US.  NSM also educates refugees of their rights and empowers them to educate each other.  Shown here with Peter are, from L-R, Associate Selena Wilson, OP; Sisters Lorraine Ryan, Philo Morris, Barbara Ann Brigham and Lucy Klien-Gebbinck.
