MMS Present in South India

Savarikadu villagers give thanks to MMS, standing on the left in the photo.  Many of the people living in the tribal village of Savarikadu in South India are anemic and malnourished.  They do not have work due to the pandemic and do not have access to government-issued ration cards as they live in the jungle. In 2020, MMS conducted two medical camps with the assistance of a local physician and have continued with regular follow up of each patient.  In addition to the monthly check-ups, Sisters provide homemade protein-rich health mix powder to boost the villagers’ nutrition.
