Sister Pauline Sadiq was born in 1964 in Sindh, Pakistan. She trained as a nurse-midwife at Holy Family Hospital, Karachi, then entered the Medical Mission Sisters in 1992. In 2000, she was assigned to Bagulin, in the Philippines for two years. This experience gave her an appreciation for her own values, traditions and culture, as well as a respect for the values, traditions and culture of others. She returned to Pakistan and a year later made her Final Vows. Over the past 10 years, Sister Pauline has served in our dispensary in Faisalabad, helped start an international community of Medical Mission Sisters in Lahore focused on community health, and offered special care to Pakistanis affected by terrible flooding in the nation. Last year she was chosen our District Coordinator for Pakistan.
