Our Mission
Our Mission: Medical Mission Sisters are women full of passion – for wholeness, for justice, for life. In a world with so much suffering, pain – and potential – we strive to promote healing and wholeness in all aspects of life.

Our History: Medical Mission Sisters were founded in 1925 in Washington, D.C., by Austrian-born Dr. Anna Dengel. 

Internationality: Internationality is part of our heritage as Medical Mission Sisters. 

Women Religious: As members of a religious congregation, Medical Mission Sisters profess public vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
