Seasonal Reflections
Since God has chosen, through Incarnation, to be part of Earth, it is not possible to return to the heart of God without also returning to the heart of Earth, accepting our belonging to Earth in the same way that we accept our belonging to God. The love of God embraces the whole Earth. Our love for God embraces the whole Earth in which God finds a home. Longing for the presence of God, being awed by God’s Holiness, is one with the longing for a planet that is whole and able to awe us by its beauty.
