Sister-Doctor Helen Marr Mitchell has accepted a new position as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, which has more graduates entering rural practice than any other medical school in the U.S. In addition to teaching, she is seeing patients and mentoring students in the Robert C. Byrd Clinic of the medical school complex. She is also involved with developing and teaching an ethics component for the curriculum. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . We congratulate Indonesian Sisters Bernadetta Rini Dwi Astuti and Agustina Sonda Mase, who recently made their Final Vows as Medical Mission Sisters. Sister Bernadetta Rini lives in Solo, and is involved in formation work. Sister Agustina is in mission in Jakarta, and serves as District Secretary for our Sisters in Indonesia. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Sister-Doctor Miriam Paul Klaus, founder and director of TeenSTAR, received the Medical Impact Abstinence Award from the Abstinence Clearinghouse. This award is given to the best advocate for abstinence education in the medical community. Leslee Unruh, President of the Clearinghouse, said, "Your commitment to the health of the next generation is an example to us all. Thank you." . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Our Sisters in Northeast India are pioneering a new mission among the Bodo tribe in Kajalgaon, in the state of Assam. This is in the diocese of Bongaigaon. Sisters Laetitia Aerthayil and Cicily Nedungattu are getting oriented to the area by visiting families, collecting data, and learning the language.
