Two of our African students are completing specialized studies. Sister Bernadette Narotso Otieno has finished her class work for her diploma in Management and Administration, and is working on her project paper while also serving part-time at the Catholic Lay Missioners Office in Nairobi. Sister Jocelyne Mukabwa, who has been studying Health Administration and Management at the Uganda Martyrs’ University, was one of two students recruited by the Uganda Catholic Medical Board to do research on its behalf. The University permits students who have excelled in class work and examinations to do a 3-month period of research, and to prepare a thesis, which will lead to the awarding of a higher diploma.
