Associate Membership

Associates are women and men who are drawn to the spirituality, mission and passion for healing and justice of Medical Mission Sisters. They resonate with the spirit and charism of the community. Associates make a commitment to live the vision and values of the Medical Mission Sisters' community within the context of their own lives and responsibilities. Association invites individuals into a way of life that grows more meaningful as they enter more fully into deepening the shared vision and values.

Associates live out their identity and purpose as they seek to:

  • Understand their lives and work (ministries) as expression of God's healing presence at the heart of a wounded world;
  • Deepen their spiritual life through reflection, prayer, liturgy and action that promotes healing;
  • Promote healing and wholeness in themselves and others;
  • Develop global consciousness and action that fosters justice
    for all;
  • Witness to one world of diverse cultures and religious understanding; promote reconciliation and peace in all areas of life;
  • Enhance their skills to dialogue across difference and reflect;
  • Reflect on how the above values are integrated in their lives.
